About the job

The job "Accountant Closing ... & Reporting" is located in the area of Record to Report and includes in major the worldwide management and monitoring of the technical closing processes for the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements of all LANXESS legal entities under usage of the SAP module Financial Closing Cockpit. • Monitoring of the technical closing processes on completeness execution, on errors and time deferrals on a monthly basis for legal entities worldwide. • Evaluation and organization of solutions for errors with the legal entities, the accounting streams and IT or based on experience with similar cases from the past under time pressure. • Organization of support requests from legal entities, accounting streams, IT, group functions with respective feedback under time pressure. • Identification of optimizing potentials with the accounting streams and IT / Contact person for legal entities in service. • Implementation of new jobs or process requirements or new legal entities together with the accounting streams and IT. • Set up and communication of the monthly closing schedules. Experience And Skills • Specific Education: M.Com / B.com in accounting, Finance, Business Administration with 3-5 years of experience in transitional accounting processes. • Work Experience: Knowledge in SAP modules FCC, FI, CO, MM and handling "Financial Closing Cockpit". Prudent knowledge of Accounting principles.
