As an Agile Product Owner at our organization, you will play a crucial role in leading the development of our technology platform for industrial products. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across organizational boundaries, defining platform opportunities, and managing the technology platform backlog. You will also be involved in creating use cases and product roadmaps to address end-user pain points effectively.Key Responsibilities:- Identify and articulate platform opportunities that alleviate pain points in product development and enhance the end-user experience.- Gain a thorough understanding of user personas, their business workflows, and pain points across a variety of products within the organization.- Define and document technology platform requirements and user stories to facilitate seamless communication with product teams.- Take ownership of the technology platform backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements for development squads.- Collaborate with Value Stream Leaders and Product Marketing teams to establish strategic priorities and successfully launch technology platforms for diverse product ranges.- Support engagement with customer advisory councils to gather feedback and insights for product enhancement.Key Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering-related field (or equivalent experience).- Proven experience in defining user personas, developing product roadmaps, and managing product backlogs.- Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, customer feedback, and voice of the customer data.- Track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and leaders to achieve impactful results.- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.- Experience in customer engagement, customer workflows mapping, and identifying use cases to improve customer experience.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks; certification in Agile methodologies preferred.Preferred Qualifications:- Previous experience as an Agile Product Owner or in a similar product management role.- Hands-on experience in managing backlogs throughout the full product lifecycle.- Knowledge of the power utility industry and various monitoring systems.- Familiarity with industrial IoT solutions.- Experience in establishing customer panels and implementing user-driven product enhancements.- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira).At Ralliant, originally part of Fortive and now an independent public company, we are committed to driving innovation in precision technology.
