As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Finance to join our leadership team and help drive the financial success of our organization. Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Finance to lead and manage the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, financial strategy development, and planning, ensuring that the organization remains financially sound and compliant with all regulatory requirements. This role demands a strong leader with expertise in core finance operations, strategic financial planning, and managing a team to achieve organizational financial objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including accounting, auditing, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements. • Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies that ensure the organization’s long-term profitability, stability, and growth. • Lead and manage the budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes to align with business goals. • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and manage annual audits. • Monitor and maintain robust internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and financial standards. • Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance and accounts team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment. • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure the organization’s compliance with all financial regulations. • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improving profitability. • Provide strategic advice to senior management regarding financial matters, including investments, cost management, and financial risk management. Qualifications & Experience: • Education: • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. • Additional relevant qualifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), MBA in Finance, or ICWA (Cost and Works Accountant) will be considered an added advantage. • Experience: • Minimum 7 years of experience in the financial sector, specifically in an NBFC or a similar financial institution, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing core finance operations. • Proven expertise in financial strategy development, budgeting, financial planning, and reporting in a fast-paced, regulated environment. • Experience with financial software, ERP systems, and accounting platforms. Required Skills: • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring finance teams. • Financial Expertise: In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, tax laws, and financial regulations (both Indian and international standards). • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals. • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. • Communication: Excellent communication skills. • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify financial challenges and propose innovative solutions. • Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements within the NBFC industry.
