AI Automation Engineer

About the job

This is a paid internship role for an AI Automation Engineer, with conversion to full-time based on performance. The role is primarily remote and open to candidates based in Punjab, India only. Occasional in-person meetings may be required at our physical location in Punjab. You must be comfortable working Canadian business hours. Responsibilities include building and integrating AI-powered automation and voice systems, connecting multiple tools and platforms, deploying real-world solutions used by businesses, and collaborating closely with engineers and leadership. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain AI-powered automation and voice systems • Integrate CRM platforms such as Zoho, HubSpot, and similar tools • Develop automation workflows using Make, Zapier, and n8n • Build, deploy, and support production-ready AI systems • Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and security • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders Qualifications: • Hands-on experience with AI, automation, or software development projects • Familiarity with voice AI tools such as Vapi, Retell, Dialogflow or similar platforms • Experience with automation tools like Make, Zapier, or n8n • Programming experience with Node.js, Python, and / or Go (Golang) • Familiarity with React, Next.js, Supabase, and MongoDB • Experience deploying applications using AWS or similar cloud platforms • Understanding of scaling concepts (horizontal and vertical scaling) • Knowledge of security best practices and clean code principles • Strong prompt engineering skills and ability to get work done using AI tools (Claude, Chatgpt etc.) • Strong English and Punjabi communication skills, especially spoken English to collaborate effectively with team What We Value: • Real, deployed projects and hands-on experience • Strong learning attitude and ownership mindset • Practical problem-solving ability and attention to detail How to Apply: • Resume • GitHub profile (required) • Links to any deployed AI or automation projects (strong plus)
