AI Engineer

About the job

We are looking for a tech-driven problem solver with 1–2 years of experience to join Pratilipi’s Founder’s Office. This is not a regular engineering role. It’s a front-row seat to learn how to build and scale a consumer tech company at Pratilipi’s scale. You will work closely with the founders and leadership team, understand daily operational challenges, business trade-offs and design AI-enabled solutions and POCs to drive strategic impact. Key Responsibilities • Work directly with founders and leadership to identify operational and strategic challenges where AI can create leverage. • Analyze datasets and generate actionable insights for high-velocity decision-making. • Collaborate with product, growth, content, and ops teams to build POCs and deploy AI-enabled solutions with measurable business impact. • Stay updated on emerging AI trends (LLMs, generative AI, multimodal) and propose innovative, fast-moving use cases. • Translate leadership ideas into quick, tangible deliverables. Moving from concept to prototype to deployment. What We’re Looking For • 1–3 years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or data-focused roles. • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, ML, and prototyping. • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, LangChain). • Strong foundation in data analysis, applied statistics, and experimentation (A/B testing, hypothesis validation). • Exposure to full-stack development (Node.js/React or equivalent) to build tools and integrate AI models. • Strong problem-solving ability, hustle, and eagerness to work on high-impact initiatives with founders.
