Must have skills required: MLOps, PDF Parsing or IR Systems, Agentic AI, LLM, rag, Cloud Server (Google / AWS) Calyx Global is Looking for: We’re hiring an AI Engineer experienced in building agentic, LLM-powered systems to drive the next evolution of our platform. This is an opportunity to develop new AI capabilities from the ground up, collaborate directly with experts, and make a tangible impact on climate. What You’ll Work On • Build and deploy intelligent agentic workflows using LLMs, retrieval systems, and multi-step reasoning that integrate with our data and software ecosystem. • Design robust pipelines for the extraction and processing of information from unstructured data. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate real user needs into scalable AI solutions. • Lead performance evaluation, reliability improvements, and safe deployment of AI systems. • Shape our AI strategy and contribute to high-impact product initiatives. What You Bring • 2+ years of experience building Agentic AI LLM applications. • Proficient in Python and familiarity with modern AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI Agents/Assistants, LlamaIndex, etc.). • Hands-on experience with RAG, embeddings, vector DBs, prompt design, and agent orchestration. • Ability to design multi-step agentic systems that interact with external APIs and tools. • Strong software fundamentals: testing, CI/CD, code quality, cloud infra (AWS preferred). • Collaborative mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment. Nice to Have • Experience with scientific or technical data domains. • Familiarity with document-processing, PDF parsing, or IR systems. • MLOps experience (monitoring, observability, scaling). • Interest in climate, sustainability, or environmental intelligence.
