As an AI Engineer Vice President at Barclays in Pune, IN, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead the evolution of the Corporate Data Services function by leveraging your expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. Your role will involve collaborating with industry experts, utilizing cutting-edge technologies, and developing innovative AI solutions within the banking sector. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services, drive technical excellence, and align technical decisions with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership to resolve complex issues. - Utilize key technologies such as AWS Bedrock, Databricks Genie, and Snowflake Cortex AI to build and deploy AI solutions. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. - Experience with Python and machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). - Experience with NLP techniques and AI platforms such as Hugging Face. - Design, develop, and implement AI models, algorithms, and GenAI models. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services. - Conduct research to advance the state-of-the-art in AI and machine learning. - Analyze and interpret complex data sets to drive decision-making and optimize AI models for performance and scalability. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with Agentic AI development & deployment. - Well versed with large learning models (LLMs) such as GTP, Claude, Deepseek, Gemini. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Working experience with large volumes of data in the financial services domain.
