AI Engineering Intern (Agentic AI) Remote / Hybrid Internship (6 months) | High chance of full-time conversion About the Role We’re hiring a sharp, hands-on AI Intern who enjoys building, experimenting, and solving real problems using AI. This role is not about just prompting tools. You’ll work on agentic AI workflows, AI-powered systems, and automations, learning how production-grade AI systems are designed and improved. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and leadership on problems without predefined playbooks. What You’ll Do • Understand business and operational problems and explore how AI can solve them • Assist in building agentic AI workflows (multi-step reasoning, tool usage) • Work with LLMs to build AI assistants, automations, and internal tools • Experiment with prompt strategies, RAG pipelines, and basic agent orchestration • Integrate AI into existing systems using APIs • Debug failures, improve reliability, and document learnings What We’re Looking For Mindset (Most Important) • Doer attitude — you prefer building over talking • Curious, experimental, and fast learner • Comfortable with ambiguity and imperfect first versions • Strong ownership mindset Core Skills • Solid understanding of AI / LLM fundamentals • Programming fundamentals in Python or JavaScript • Comfortable working with APIs, JSON, and backend concepts Hands-On Exposure (Any of These) • Used LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, etc.) • Built a chatbot, automation, or AI tool (college or side project is fine) • Tried agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, etc.) • Experience with automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier) or scripting workflows Nice to Have • Vector databases or embeddings exposure • Cloud basics (AWS / GCP / Azure) • Docker familiarity • GitHub projects you can explain clearly What This Role Is NOT • Not a research-only role • Not a “just use ChatGPT” role • Not a tutorial-following role You’ll build, break, and improve real AI systems.
