Role Overview - AI Engineering Lead The AI Engineering Lead is a hands-on role, positioned at the intersection of AI innovation, engineering excellence, and customer impact. You won't just build systems; you'll transform complex business challenges into simple, elegant, and scalable AI solutions. You will be instrumental in transforming nascent ideas into production-ready artifacts, leading the development cycle from initial concept to live deployment. Responsibilities: • Work alongside Architects to design secure, scalable, and resilient AI system architectures, ensuring solutions are robust and future-proof. • Design, develop, and deploy entire backend services (APIs, data processing pipelines, and deployment infrastructure) necessary to serve high-performance AI applications to customers • Providing detailed technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to Junior Engineers to uplift team capabilities and ensure high standards for code quality and performance What we look for in Candidates: • 3+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Machine Learning Engineering • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience specifically designing, developing, and deploying solutions utilizing Generative AI models (GenAI) • Expert proficiency in Python for AI / ML development, coupled with strong engineering skills in either Java or JavaScript / TypeScript for production backend services • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and database systems (SQL / NoSQL) • Demonstrated history of being a highly effective team player with excellent cross-functional communication skills Why Join Us? • Opportunity to work on foundational research problems related to the field of Physical AI • Be in an early stage company - grow with the company and shape our trajectory, in turn creating inorganic growth opportunities for yourself. • Be in the right field at the right time - opportunity to grow and advance your career in the burgeoning field of AI. • Be part of a fast-paced, ambitious research organization that is pushing the boundaries of AI across industries. • Competitive salary and benefits.
