AI Engineering Lead

We are seeking an AI Engineering Lead to spearhead the design and development of advanced AI-driven applications in healthcare. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership, guiding a team to build scalable, reliable, and regulatory-compliant AI systems that integrate with major EMRs and healthcare platforms. Responsibilities: • Lead a team of AI/ML engineers to deliver production-grade healthcare AI applications. • Design and deploy agentic AI solutions for clinical documentation, predictive analytics, and workflow automation. • Collaborate with product, data, and clinical teams to define requirements and translate them into scalable AI systems. • Own end-to-end lifecycle: prototyping, model development, deployment (MLOps), monitoring, and iteration. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards. • Mentor engineers and set best practices for AI development in healthcare. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role preferred. • Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and large language model (LLM) fine-tuning. • Hands-on experience with agent-based AI systems or workflow automation. • Exposure to EMR/EHR integrations (Epic, Athenahealth, eCW, or similar). • Understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7 HIPAA compliance). • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
