Location : India / Remote Contract : 1–2 months initially (extendable) Reports to : AI / ML Lead About Us We’re building a next-generation AI personal assistant — a cross-device digital butler that listens, understands intent, and executes real-world tasks like booking flights or fetching files from your laptop. Think Siri — but smarter, independent, and actually useful. We’re an early-stage founder-led startup, moving fast and building with intent. We’re now looking for a world-class Mobile Engineer to own the entire mobile experience. Role Overview As our AI Mobile Engineer, you will design and build the Android / Flutter app that users interact with every day. Your work will power real-time voice conversations, smooth UI, and seamless interaction with our AI backend — directly shaping investor demos and first-user impressions. What You’ll Be Doing • Build the mobile app from scratch using Android (Kotlin) or Flutter • Implement voice-first interaction : • Push-to-talk microphone control • Audio streaming to backend • Text-to-Speech playback • Build a conversational UI with cards, lists, and action components • Integrate securely with backend APIs • Implement Firebase Auth or similar for login & secure sessions • Ensure reliability across network conditions • Optimize performance, threading, battery usage, and memory • Add analytics, crash reporting, & basic QA coverage • Collaborate closely with the AI / ML Lead & Designer • Deliver a polished investor-ready build Security & Quality Mindset • Handle microphone permissions safely • Secure session / token storage • Prevent logging of sensitive data • Follow platform security guidelines • Build a stable, crash-free release You’re a Great Fit If You Have • 5–6+ years professional mobile development experience • Strong skills in Android (Kotlin) or Flutter / Dart • Experience working with REST APIs & async networking • Experience with audio recording or streaming (big plus) • Strong debugging & performance optimization instincts • A builder’s mindset — you love creating real products • Comfort working in fast-moving startup environments Bonus Points • Voice assistant / telephony app experience • Worked with LLMs or AI features • UI animation / motion design experience • Experience shipping consumer-facing apps Shortlisting Questions (attach answers when applying) • Links to 2 apps you’ve built (Play Store / GitHub). • Describe any experience with real-time streaming or audio. • Explain how you would design mic → backend streaming → playback. • What devices & OS versions do you test on? • When can you start & what’s your availability?
