Analyst - Accounts Receivable

Description Summary of the role The successful candidate will be aligned with our Finance Operations – Global Accounts Receivable team and will be responsible for accounts receivable, customer queries, and dispute resolution. You will be responsible for Cash Applications where you need to have extensive knowledge and ability to perform day-to-day operations while maintaining SLA’s. Solving queries related to cash applications and coordination with customers is required. Responsibilities As part of our commitment to your development, you will also gain exposure in cross-functional and process improvement projects, and your core responsibilities will include the following: • Ensure timely closure of payments with high degree of accuracy • Respond to customer queries through call and/or email • Research unapplied payments and work with customer to identify the root cause and resolve open issues on account • Work with internal teams to drive process improvements and resolve escalations and discrepancies on customer account • Provide growth ideas for process standardization and automation through JDI/Kaizen projects • Perform complex reconciliations on customer payments • Perform QC and conduct refresher training with the team on best practice sharing • Highlight and address issues with the technical teams related to the discrepancies with the ERP system Job requirements • Must be fluent in German language skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service focus • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision • Drive for continuous learning and self-development • Flexibility to change as per the changing requirements of the business • Minimum 2-3 years experience in O2C domain, preferably cash application or Customer Service • Intermediate knowledge of Excel – including working with pivot & formulas • Flexible to work in late evening/night shifts Basic Qualifications • German Language must Preferred Qualifications • German Language MUST Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
