Company Description Centre for World Solidarity (CWS) is an independent, India-based Trust established in 1992 in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Emerging from its predecessor, ‘United Action Service for World Solidarity’ (ASW), CWS partners with grassroots NGOs, networks, and fellows to advance people-centric development and empower marginalized communities. Guided by its vision of building an equitable and inclusive society, CWS emphasizes non-violence, equity, transparency, and eco-friendly development. The organization promotes a rights-based, gender-sensitive, and eco-sustainable approach in governance, livelihoods, and natural resource management. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Analyst role located in Jharkhand, India. The Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to create insights and support strategic decision-making. Daily tasks include conducting research, preparing analytical reports, developing actionable recommendations, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive impactful development initiatives. Qualifications • Strong analytical skills, including data collection, data analysis, and data interpretation abilities • Proficiency in research methodologies, report writing, and presenting findings effectively • Experience in project management, stakeholder collaboration, and organizational skills • Ability to work in on-site environments and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in engaging with diverse communities • Knowledge of development-focused frameworks and gender-sensitive, rights-based approaches is an advantage • Proficiency in digital tools and relevant software for data analysis and report preparation is preferred • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, or related fields
