Analyst - Business Valuation

Responsibilities The individual’s primary responsibility will be to work as part of the Oaktree’s valuation team and assist with valuation of portfolio assets within Oaktree’s private credit, private equity funds and other funds in the U.S., Europe and Asia. • Assist in performing valuations as a part of the quarterly/monthly/daily portfolio valuation process. • Assist with the coordination and administration of the private valuation function. • Manage multiple internal and external data collection workflows. • Assist with research and analysis projects and assist with other ad hoc projects. • Analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Support audits and due diligence processes by providing required financial analyses and documentation. Qualifications • 2 to 3 years of valuation experience. • Solid understanding of core valuation concepts, financial analysis, and accounting principles. • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English. • Ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines. • Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus. Education A Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree a plus. CFA holder a plus.
