What You Will Do • Partner with Product Leaders, Business Finance, FP&A, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to deliver end‑to‑end profitability and margin insights across products, customers, plants, and regions. • Analyze and explain COGS and margin movements, including material, labor, overhead, PPV/POV, inventory impacts, and profit in inventory. • Collaborate with business finance, plant costing, and operations teams to interpret costing drivers, BOM routing logic, and material consumption, leveraging subject‑matter experts as needed. • Analyze data from SAP (CO, MM, PP) and non‑SAP sources to support PA dashboards, analytics tools, and leadership reviews. • Develop and maintain analytical data models to enable scalable profitability reporting, scenario analysis, and decision support. • Act as a finance business partner by translating complex analytics into clear insights, trade‑offs, and recommendations for stakeholders. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across PA calculations, assumptions, and outputs. • Work cross‑functionally to resolve data gaps, improve methodologies, and continuously enhance the value delivered by PA insights. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) • CA / CMA / MBA / M.Com with 4–8 years of experience in Profit Analytics, Manufacturing Finance, FP&A, Costing, or Operations Finance. • Strong understanding of the manufacturing income statement, cost build‑up, and COGS mechanics. • Working knowledge of SAP (CO, MM, PP preferred) and ability to navigate financial and operational data. • Strong analytical skills with experience working on large, complex datasets. • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience presenting insights in a clear, structured manner. What Will Put You Ahead • Experience in profitability or margin analytics within a manufacturing environment. • Exposure to data modeling and analytics enablement for finance use cases. • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data extraction and analysis. • Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools. • Ability to simplify complex costing concepts and influence decisions through strong communication and storytelling.
