As an Analyst in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial close process, annual planning, and strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing variances against budget, forecasts, and prior year actuals, as well as key business drivers and initiatives. Providing insightful commentary to management teams. - Developing the annual plan/budget and forecasts, ensuring accurate data upload into Hyperion budgeting tool. - Managing and updating standardized financial reporting packages to drive business decisions and identify revenue risks and opportunities. - Providing relevant financial analytics and business insights to key stakeholders to support Mastercard's strategic plans. - Applying strategic understanding of business dynamics and competitive forces to formulate mitigating strategies. - Identifying opportunities for financial process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency for internal customers and stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role include: - Educational qualification such as Chartered Accountant, CPA, or MBA Finance. - Experience in financial roles with advanced knowledge of financial planning and management. - Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, financial systems like Hyperion and Oracle, and reporting techniques. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple activities, and deliver results with accuracy and urgency. - Strong strategic thinking, relationship management, networking skills, and commercial acumen. - Ambitious, motivated, and proactive with the maturity to challenge ideas and balance opportunities and threats.
