Analyst Intern – Macroeconomics, Public Policy & Sectoral Trends (India) Role Overview The Analyst Intern will work closely with the Fund Manager to analyze India’s macroeconomic environment, public policy landscape, and demographic shifts, and translate these insights into: • Sectoral and industry outlooks • Forecasts and thematic investment views • Presentations, research notes, and public-facing content Key Responsibilities Macroeconomic & Public Policy Research • Analyze India’s macroeconomic indicators: GDP growth, inflation, fiscal deficit, debt, interest rates, and balance of payments. • Track Union and State budgets, fiscal policy, and public expenditure priorities. • Monitor RBI policy actions and financial system developments. • Evaluate regulatory and policy changes (SEBI, RBI, DPIIT, NITI Aayog, MeitY, India Stack, etc.). Sectoral, Demographic & Trend Analysis • Apply macro and policy research to identify trends across Indian sectors and industries. • Study the impact of rising per capita income, urbanization, and demographic transitions on consumption and industry structure. • Identify emerging industries, sunrise sectors, and long-term growth themes. • Build forward-looking sector outlooks and thematic frameworks. Forecasting & Modelling • Develop scenario-based forecasts for sectoral growth and industry evolution. • Analyze demographic and income distribution data to assess medium- and long-term implications. • Support macro and sectoral models with data-driven insights. Research-to-Content & Communication • Convert comprehensive research into: • Investor and internal presentations • Concise research notes and briefs • Edit and structure complex economic analysis into clear, accessible narratives without losing analytical depth. • Assist in building a consistent research and content pipeline aligned with the Fund’s investment philosophy. Investment & Strategy Support • Translate macro and sectoral insights into investment-relevant conclusions for startups and public markets. • Support preparation of investment theses, strategy decks, and policy-led opportunity notes.

Qualifications
