The Purpose of This Role This role involves supporting the Enterprise Relationship Management that is responsible to grow and retain business with the strategic clients and high potential growth companies for Fidelity Investments. Being the part of this team, one needs to build domain knowledge, work on pre-sales intelligence work for different industry sectors, and provide actionable recommendations to the business teams to enable data driven strategic decision making. The Value You Deliver • Working with senior stakeholders and partners in ERM’s Business Intelligence team, which provides research and analysis support for better mining and maintaining relationships with Fidelity’s key clients. • Working collaboratively with partners across analytics, business, operations and product teams to rapidly grow the adoption of data-driven insights. • Applying data analytics concepts to produce actionable insights from the data to answer strategic questions and unearth new opportunities. • Collaborating within other analytics teams to enhance the quality and value of team deliverables. • Leveraging the firm’s data assets, partner with innovative groups to push the development of scalable and reusable solutions. The Skills That Are Key To This Role • Strong research capabilities, with the ability to identify reliable information from multiple sources such as Pitchbook, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc. to support strategic decision-making through valuable insights, competitor analysis, and executive-level presentations. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, data analysis). • Proven experience in PowerBI for building dashboards or Ad-hoc analyses. • Understanding of relational as well as dimensional database models and ability to query data from databases through SQL / Snowflake will be preferred. • Develop strategic insights to support product, marketing, and executive teams and create high-impact presentations for leadership using PowerPoint. • Attention to detail, especially in all aspects of report making from research to preparation of presentation and client interaction. • Exposure to consulting methodologies and client-facing environments. • Independent and total ownership of research-based deliverables – provide deep/actionable insights for the business to use and recommendations that dwell on insights. • Strong work ethic in terms of time management, ownership of project and client’s objective. • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work in a timeline-driven agile environment. • Curiosity and will to continuously learn about the business and domain they’re working on, as well as the ability to scan and connect dots from other engagements.
