As an Analyst or Senior Analyst in the Banking & Financial Services domain, your role will involve collaborating with clients to translate business problems into clear analytics problem statements and develop analytical frameworks to address them. Your typical work day may include: - Collaborating with a team of data scientists and engineers to plan and execute business solutions - Contributing to client presentations, reports, and QBRs - Engaging in client discussions within structured project settings You should have awareness of the banking regulatory landscape and common AI and automation use cases in BFS such as fraud detection using ML, credit scoring, robo-advisors, and chatbots. Additionally, you should be able to identify basic applications of analytics in operations and have knowledge of concepts related to customer segmentation, CLTV, customer attrition and retention, and next best product/cross-sell. Experience in Model Validation, Model Performance Monitoring, and Model Development is desired. Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of relevant experience in Analytics projects in the BFS domain - Minimum 1 year of experience working for global banks or financial services in areas like Credit, Fraud, Marketing, or Operations on AI or analytics projects - Strong communication skills and experience in client communication - Proficiency in preparing and presenting PowerPoint/Google Slides presentations - Hands-on experience with Excel/Google Sheets for data review, sanitization, and manipulation - Proficient in querying data using SQL on traditional RDBMS databases and/or big data environments like Hadoop/Hive/Spark - Ability to analyze and visualize data using tools like Tableau and PowerBI - Intermediate experience in Python programming for DS/ML/AI - Exposure to low-code no-code tools like GPT, CLausde, Lovable, Gemini - Appreciation of different statistical/machine learning/AI techniques and their applications - Interpretation of results from a business viewpoint to address structured or unstructured problems
