About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Role: Angular Front-end UI/UX Developer (C# and SQL Server preferable) The Team: Our team is mainly responsible for ingesting, processing and distributing Securities Finance data. This data is displayed in various colors and flavors in our Web Portal's various pages and apps. There are many challenging requirements in pipeline from business, sales and product teams to be developed and delivered to the clients.The team's dynamic is very easy going and friendly. Everyone is very helpful and supportive. Also, we have a very good work-life balance. The releases are planned well in advance as well.The Impact: As a member of this team, you will be a part of world's leading Securities Finance dataset, far more than our nearest competitor. Your work will decide the decisions taken by the greatest Securities lending agents/firms of the world.Technically, you will analyze, architect, design, develop, deploy and support any new and existing business requirements that come in the Securities Finance business (requested by a few clients). The role requires the candidate to be a hands-on problem solver and a developer helping to extend and manage the extensive Web Portal running every second of every day. What's in it for you: • Build a career with a global company • Exposure to work on the world's leading Securities Finance dataset • Great learning about the UI/UX requirements that come from world's leading financial data analysts and traders • Work on code that decides the decisions taken by the greatest Securities lending agents/firms of the world • Work with a fantastic group of people in a supportive environment where training, learning and growth are embraced • Good work-life balance Roles and Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain an extensive Web Portal with latest Angular technologies and other related libraries like HighCharts, ag-grid etc. • Migrate legacy components to modern cloud architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. • Enhance application security measures and implement best practices to safeguard sensitive data. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software on time. • Take ownership of projects, from concept to delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives. • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in UI/UX technologies, Python, AI programs, cloud computing, .NET frameworks, and other related technologies. • Translate financial requirements into technical solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial terms and processes. • Work as part of an agile team to identify and deliver solutions to prioritized requirements • As a self-driven professional, enhance the security of the applications & platform. • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns as per relevant experience. • Must demonstrate strong expertise in system design, architectural patterns, and building efficient, scalable systems. • Implement and manage AWS cloud technologies, focusing on commonly used services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. Required Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 6 to 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on Angular UI/UX development, Python and other related technologies. Also, some AI experience will be beneficial. • Proficiency in Angular, UI/UX, Python, AI, GIT etc. with preferable knowledge of .NET 6, SQL Server, PostgreSQL. • Cloud Technologies: AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, SNS, SQS, RDS) • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions within deadlines.
