About the job

We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented Area Sales Executive/Manager to drive sales and business growth in the assigned territory. The role involves promoting and selling medical/scientific devices, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with customers across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities: • Drive sales growth for microscopes and related products within the assigned region • Identify and develop new business opportunities in: • Pathology Labs • Diagnostic Centers • Hospitals • Medical Colleges & Universities • Agricultural Labs • Forensic Science Laboratories (FSL) • Industrial sectors • Promote products to both government and private institutions • Schedule and attend meetings with doctors and key decision-makers • Conduct product demonstrations, user training, and basic technical support • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets • Execute sales and marketing strategies as directed by management • Maintain daily activity reporting and provide market feedback • Manage area sales operations, outstanding collections, and customer concerns • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships • Analyze market potential and track regional sales performance • Learn product features thoroughly and assist in troubleshooting • Prepare and submit weekly reports • Complete additional tasks assigned by the reporting manager Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any relevant discipline • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales or business development (Experience in medical devices, microscopes, scientific instruments, or laboratory products) • Strong sales and negotiation skills with high energy levels • Good market awareness and business orientation • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Ability to work independently as well as in a team • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Adaptability to a fast-paced and target-driven environment
