Job Description – Assistant Manager (Business Development) Department: Business Development Location: Bangalore No. of Positions: 1 Experience: 5–8 Years Budget (CTC): ₹6–8 LPA Role Overview The Assistant Manager – Business Development will be responsible for driving corporate sales, acquiring new business, and managing key client relationships. The role requires strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Acquisition & Corporate Sales • Drive new business acquisition through targeted corporate sales strategies. • Identify potential clients and develop strong business pipelines. 2. Client Engagement • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations. • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers. 3. Key Account Management • Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. • Address client concerns and ensure timely resolution in coordination with internal teams. 4. Commercial Proposals & Negotiations • Prepare commercial proposals and customized business solutions. • Lead contract discussions and close negotiations effectively. 5. Market Intelligence & Reporting • Identify emerging market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. • Share insights and business reports with management to support decision-making. 6. Sales Planning & Strategy Support • Support sales planning, forecasting, and strategic business initiatives. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement business development strategies. 7. Cross-functional Coordination • Coordinate with operations, fleet, service, and support teams to deliver seamless service to clients. • Ensure timely communication of client requirements and expectations to internal stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications • 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Corporate Sales (preferably B2B). • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. • Ability to conduct high-quality presentations and product demonstrations. • Knowledge of sales planning, revenue forecasting, and CRM tools. • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal departments. • Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
