As an Assistant Manager-Demand Planner at Nykaa Beauty Ecommerce, your role is crucial in ensuring that the business meets future demand efficiently. You will be responsible for estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing accurate forecasting models. Your collaboration with organizational leaders is essential to ensure uninterrupted supply to consumers based on anticipated demand. Key Responsibilities: - Drive forecasting and S&OP for the category. - Implement ordering strategy and replenishment planning. - Ensure high availability of products both nationally and regionally. - Reduce out-of-stock instances and manage problem inventory such as overstocking and near expiry items. - Plan for events, seasons, festivities, and regular stock requirements. - Coordinate with cross-functional departments to understand business needs and execute plans accordingly. - Collaborate with supply planning and warehouse teams as necessary. - Develop systems and processes for effective demand planning. - Engage in joint business planning with vendors to understand their supply structures. - Analyze inventory levels and optimize distribution. - Develop new region sales plans and manage replenishment. - Oversee inventory turnover to maintain optimal levels. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4 years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning roles. - Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures. - Proficiency in mathematical and statistical analysis. - Proven stakeholder management skills. - Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. - Good knowledge of the Supply Chain domain. - Proficient in MS Excel and Power Point. - Strong planning and prioritization abilities. - Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills. - Capability to build long-term relationships with key external and internal stakeholders. - Experience in presenting data visually and providing concise, documented insights.
