About the job
As an Assistant Manager / Manager - Logistic (International) at the globally aligned Indo-German Chemistry CRO, your role will be to oversee and optimize the supply chain, warehousing, distribution, and transportation activities across the CRO & CDMO operations. You will need experience in pharmaceutical logistics, a deep understanding of regulatory compliance (GDP, GMP), and the ability to manage complex logistics operations in a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop & implement logistics strategies to improve service levels, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. - Manage & coordinate domestic & international logistics for inbound & outbound shipments of raw materials, intermediates, & finished products. - Build & maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. - Implement digital / logistics software tools to streamline operations and reporting. - Optimize logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost per shipment, inventory turnover. - Monitor & track shipment status and proactively address any delays or disruptions. - Oversee warehouse and inventory management, ensuring proper storage conditions & real-time stock visibility. - Prepare all export and import documentation in compliance with applicable regulations. - Coordinate with clearing agents and freight forwarders for shipment handling and customs clearance. - Supervise packing and labeling of shipments to ensure accuracy, product integrity, and compliance with applicable standards and client specifications. - Lead logistics-related audits and inspections; maintain required documentation for traceability and compliance. - Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, quality assurance, production, and project management to align logistics activities with project timelines and client requirements.

Qualifications
- Any Graduate Diploma / Certificate in SCM / Logistic / Operation with 5 to 10 yrs experience
