Job Title: Assistant Manager – Sales (Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu) Location: Coimbatore Department: Sales Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Head Job Purpose The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for handling end-to-end sales activities in the Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu region, including B2B and B2C lead management, new business development, client closure, coordination with internal teams, and achieving assigned sales targets. Key Responsibilities • Handle B2B and B2C leads generated through all channels (CRM, digital, referrals, walk-ins, partners, etc.) • Generate new leads through multiple channels including field visits, networking, partnerships, and local marketing activities • Qualify leads and manage the entire sales cycle from enquiry to closure • Coordinate with internal teams for quotation preparation, revisions, and approvals • Conduct client meetings, site visits, presentations, and negotiations • Ensure timely closure of deals and achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including lead status, follow-ups, and conversion data • Coordinate with PMC, Engineering, and Execution teams for project handover and smooth client experience • Track competition, pricing trends, and market opportunities in the specified region • Ensure compliance with company sales processes, reporting timelines, and documentation requirements • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management Key Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C sales processes • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills • Ability to manage multiple leads and priorities independently • Experience in CRM systems and sales reporting • Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams • Target-driven, proactive, and result-oriented mindset Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field • 3–6 years of relevant sales experience (Infrastructure / Construction / Sports Infra preferred) • Experience handling regional markets is an advantage • Willingness to travel locally within Specified and nearby areas KPIs / Performance Metrics • Lead conversion ratio • Revenue and sales target achievement • New lead generation • CRM data accuracy and hygiene • Client satisfaction and closure timelines
