We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager – Statutory Reporting. Reporting to the Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Global Service Centre and its’ growth. Key responsibilities: · Assist in Statutory audit. · Conduct audit testing in accordance with established checklists and guidelines. · Maintain comprehensive documentation for all tested samples to ensure audit traceability. · Review, refine, and enhance the scope of audit tests to better align with client-specific requirements. · Collaborate with senior auditors to address and resolve open items, identified gaps, and audit findings. · Support the enhancement of internal controls and procedures within the ongoing audit framework. · Prepare standard working papers for statutory audits, tax reviews, and annual financial statements. · Develop bridge files and supporting documents to facilitate final client approvals and audit signoffs. · Stay informed on regulatory and industry developments affecting the client portfolio. · Promptly escalate any issues or concerns to senior team members or leadership for resolution. Key requirements: [Attributes & Skills] · Proficient in both written and spoken English with effective communication skills. · Strong presentation skills and a client-focused approach. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Word · Highly motivated, self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision. · Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering solutions. [Relevant experience] · Professionally qualified or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–3 years of relevant experience. · Hands-on experience in statutory audits, preparation of financial statements, and audit coordination. [Education/Professional Qualifications] · CA (Inter), CA Fresher, or Experienced Chartered Accountant. · Additional qualifications such as DipIFR (Diploma in IFRS) is a plus.
