We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Finance Operation Purpose Of The Role Financial Accounting Ops is one of the key functions in FinOps, responsible to ensure Integrity of Financial data, Period End Close, Balance Sheet reconciliation/ substantiation, IFRS, FINREP, GSIB & CE Reporting across regions. The role can be in Gurgaon / Chennai or Hyderabad. We are seeking a driven and result-oriented Transformation & Project Management Lead to champion change initiatives, spearhead automation projects and oversee project execution while optimizing headcount. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management expertise and a keen eye for identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency through automation. The Transformation & Project Management Lead will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams, developing and implementing project plans, managing resources effectively, and driving measurable results. Given the nature of the role, and the strong emphasis on transformation, the role holder will work closely with BAU and Change teams across the e2e process and will be instrumental in the re-design of the current process. The role also provides an opportunity to engage with multiple stakeholders across management levels and to drive through a strong change agenda. In This Role, You Will • Develop and implement a comprehensive transformation strategy aligned with business goals. • Identify opportunities for automation across various departments and functions. • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of transformation projects, ensuring successful implementation and adoption. • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. • Oversee project teams, fostering collaboration and clear communication across departments. • Track and measure project performance, identifying and mitigating risks. • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. • Manage and optimize project team size based on workload and automation implementation. • Communicate project progress and results effectively to stakeholders. • Manage the function’s cost base, including key statistical data metrics on headcount movements, open positions, diversity, span of control and snapshot survey actions amongst others. To Be Successful You Will • An excellent level of financial management and business analysis experience requiring strong technical and commercial understanding of what drives the numbers reported. • Proven relationship management and team engagement skills, with the ability to deal with all senior/junior levels within a global organisation. • Exceptional drive and commitment which includes the ability to work and thrive in a fast changing, results driven environment and handle competing priorities. • Ability to highlight problems, but more importantly, offer innovative and practical solutions and drive through their execution in a collective environment and in a timely manner. • A leading performer who inspires others. • A self starter who is not afraid to speak up and face a challenge; also open to listen to guidance and learn as they go. • Good understanding of the Group’s strategy and is commercially minded and customer focused. Strong influencing, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution abilities. • Excellent communication (written & verbal), planning and organisation skills. • An inquisitive mind who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, continuously looking at ways to improve processes and reduce duplications. • Qualified Accountant is desirable (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA). Experience in cost management and analytics would be an advantage. Excellent systems skills (including use of Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
