We are seeking a talented individual to join our Oliver Wyman team. This role will be based in Pune / Gurugram. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Associate Director - IT Product Development The OWG Tech department is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to guide and actively contribute to our development teams. This role will be approximately 60%-80% hands-on, leading developer groups focused on delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions primarily using the MEAN / MERN stack. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in both relational (SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases, cloud experience (AWS preferred), and strong skills in CI / CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes. We will count on you to: • Lead and mentor developer groups, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to best practices. • Act as a hands-on contributor for approximately 80% of the time, driving development efforts in MEAN / MERN stack applications. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and performant software solutions using relational (SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases. • Architect and implement cloud-based solutions, preferably on AWS, ensuring robust, scalable infrastructure. • Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment automation. • Enforce OWASP security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. • Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog to ensure system reliability and performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and operations to deliver high-quality software solutions. • Conduct code reviews, architectural reviews, and provide technical guidance to development teams.
