Role Overview: The Associate Director, Second Line Assurance (2LA) at Conduct, Financial Crime & Compliance (CFCC) is responsible for executing risk-based Assurance Reviews focusing on Systems and Data Risks. You will collaborate with the Head of Assurance to contribute to the overall strategy, execute quality reviews, identify emerging risks, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Head of Assurance to develop the 2LA Annual Plan, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery. - Communicate outcomes from Assurance Reviews to stakeholders and support in developing mitigating actions. - Analyze principal risk types, engage with stakeholders, and manage end-to-end execution of Reviews. - Complete workpapers and documentation for Reviews adhering to quality standards and track issues through the lifecycle. - Make recommendations on risk management responses and adhere to required risk management standards. - Escalate significant risks and issues to the Head of Assurance and provide insightful reporting on 2LA standards and operational performance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or Equivalent - Background in Auditing, Operational Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime Compliance - Experience in data management risks and review of systems functionalities - Minimum 8-10 years of audit or assurance experience - Strong analytical skills, controls assessment, and excellent communication skills - Ability to take responsibility, ownership, and demonstrate a risk-based approach.
