Associate General Manager - Civil Projects

Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities: • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects within the Power/Energy sector. • Lead a team of engineers and construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to achieve project milestones. • Provide expertise in resolving complex technical issues and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Expert in civil construction BTG, BOP and civil & structural works for power plant. • Develop project timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans to support efficient project delivery. • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project schedules. • Communicate regularly with senior management to provide project updates, highlight achievements, and address any challenges. • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices within the organization. Technical Skills • Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices in the Power/Energy industry • Proficiency in project management tools and software • Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, and other relevant design software • In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and techniques • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and building codes Non-Negotiable Skills: • Strong leadership and project management skills • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale civil engineering projects • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Qualifications Education Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Experience Overall, 15-20 years of experience and 5-10 years in the Power/Energy industry
