About the job

We are looking for an Associate Manager – Analytics(Bengaluru) with strong experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and client engagement. The role involves translating business problems into analytics-driven solutions and managing a team of analysts to deliver high-quality insights across industries. Roles & Responsibilities • Lead client engagement: Proactively engage stakeholders to capture business goals, prioritize analytics use cases, define success metrics (KPIs) and timelines, and obtain formal requirements sign-off. • Translate business problems into analytical plans: Convert business needs into clear analytical questions and hypotheses, design the analytical approach (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive), and outline expected outcomes. • Prioritize and manage project portfolio: Assess and prioritize projects by business impact, effort, and risk; maintain a delivery roadmap, track milestones, and manage scope to meet deadlines. • Define measurement and validation: Establish KPIs, evaluation criteria, and validation plans (including A/B tests or backtests) to measure effectiveness and model performance. • Oversee analytics development and delivery: Own end-to-end delivery of statistical analyses and ML solutions, ensuring reproducible code, robust documentation, and deployment readiness. • Manage data operations and SQL work: Lead data extraction, transformation and preparation activities; write and review complex SQL queries; enforce data quality, lineage and readiness standards. • Design and deliver dashboards: Build actionable dashboards and reports using Power BI / Tableau / Qlik / Spotfire with clear KPIs, update schedules, and visualization best practices. • Collaborate cross-functionally: Coordinate closely with data engineers, data scientists, product and business teams to operationalize insights and integrate analytics into decision-making processes. • Lead, mentor and grow the team: Hire, coach and mentor analysts, assign clear responsibilities, set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and enable career development. • Document processes and enable handovers: Map and document end-to-end business processes, create runbooks and ensure knowledge transfer for maintainability and continuity. • Present insights and drive adoption: Communicate findings through structured storytelling to senior stakeholders, translate technical results into clear business recommendations and next steps. • Ensure quality, governance and compliance: Implement QA checks, code reviews and data governance controls to ensure trustworthy analyses and compliance with privacy policies.
