Role: Associate Manager - Indirect Sourcing Location: Hyderabad Full/ Part-time: Full Time About the role • The Sr Specialist – Indirect Procurement will collaborate with the Supply Chain Category Management team and internal Centers of Excellence (CoE) to build and maintain the annual RFx pipeline. This role is accountable for managing RFx timelines, assessing risks, creating mitigation plans, and ensuring productivity targets are achieved. The position requires adherence to Carrier’s standard sourcing processes and effective use of tools such as Ariba to execute RFx events. • Additionally, the role focuses on building organizational capability and capacity to support growth and high-performance expectations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving talent attraction, engagement, development, and retention. Key Responsibilities: A. Core Sourcing knowledge • Knowledge and exposure to Indirect categories, cost reduction, sourcing, best practice RFQ’s, negotiation process thereby guiding team to drive best outcomes for Carrier. • Strong exposure in cost estimation, negotiations • Should have worked directly in analyzing Total Cost of Ownership of products/services. • Hands on experience in working on spend data to drive actionable insights for spend category. • Should have experience driving initiatives for indirect categories to enable productivity. B. Team strategy • Strategic thinking- ability to think through and independently define priorities for team • Periodic engagement with stakeholders to define strategy, align on strategy, adapt strategy based on changing business needs and stakeholder expectations. C. People management • Excellent People Management skills coupled with an empathetic leadership style • Strong desire to drive for results • Strong sense of accountability for self and others • Strong program management skills, including change management. • Excellent influencing / negotiation skills and ability to work multi-dimensionally in a complex business environment.
