Job Description Associate – Origination (Working Capital & Trade Finance) Location: India (Backend / Offshore Support Office) Coverage: GCC & Asia Markets Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Financial Advisory & Consulting Role Overview The Associate – Origination (Working Capital & Trade Finance) will be responsible for originating and qualifying business opportunities remotely for Graystone Capital’s GCC and Asia offices. The role involves identifying potential SME and mid-sized corporate clients, initiating outreach, qualifying financing requirements, and supporting senior advisory teams by building and managing a robust origination pipeline. This is a sales-oriented yet process-driven role, operating entirely from the Indian office. Key Responsibilities Business Origination & Lead Generation • Identify SMEs and mid-sized corporates across GCC and Asia requiring: • Working capital facilities • Trade finance solutions (LCs, BGs, SBLCs, structured trade) • Generate leads through: • Market research • LinkedIn and professional platforms • Databases and referrals Opportunity Qualification • Conduct initial screening of prospects based on: • Business profile • Financing requirement • Jurisdiction and banking readiness • Prepare concise opportunity summaries for internal review • Escalate qualified opportunities to relevant regional teams Outreach & Coordination • Support outbound outreach through: • Introductory emails • Follow-ups • Meeting coordination for GCC & Asia teams • Maintain professional communication aligned with financial advisory standards Pipeline & Process Management • Maintain accurate records of leads and opportunities • Track follow-ups, status updates, and conversions • Prepare periodic origination and pipeline reports for management Internal Collaboration • Work closely with: • GCC & Asia advisory teams • Research and marketing support teams • Ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities Candidate Profile Experience & Background • 2–6 years of experience in: • Business development • Origination support • Corporate banking / trade finance / financial services • Prior banking experience (corporate banking, trade finance, SME banking) is a strong advantage Skills & Competencies • Strong sales and origination mindset • Basic understanding of: • Working capital products • Trade finance instruments • Excellent written and verbal English communication • High level of follow-up discipline and ownership • Comfortable working with overseas teams and time zones Technical Skills • Proficiency in: • CRM systems • Excel and PowerPoint • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and research tools preferred What We Offer • Exposure to international GCC & Asia markets • Structured origination and advisory environment • Career growth in corporate finance and banking advisory • Opportunity to work closely with senior advisory professionals How to Apply Interested candidates may apply via LinkedIn or share their resumes at: jobs@graystonefs.com | s.a@graystonefs.com | elisa@graystonefs.com Please mention the position title in the subject line of your email.
