Your Mission: The Role Solving for better. You are a proactive, indispensable partner to Searce’s leadership, expected to maintain a strong sense of professional integrity while managing end-to-end processes related to taxation and internal controls. This isn’t just about tracking numbers; it’s about being a creative visionary who can step back, see the big picture, and come up with new ways of approaching challenges to make positive changes to day-to-day work. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of audit professionals, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard within agreed-upon timelines. You will serve as a critical advisor by challenging assumptions and delivering insightful findings to management, enabling Searce to navigate the competitive tech consulting landscape with speed and precision. Key Responsibilities • Audit Execution: Execute comprehensive audit procedures in adherence to relevant standards and meticulously document the process while exercising professional skepticism. • Financial Statements: Manage end-to-end processes related to taxation, including tax statement preparation, and maintain keen oversight of the Balance Sheet and P&L through tracking and analysis. • Reporting & FP&A: Perform analytical reviews and identify/document audit misstatements; provide data-driven insights to support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). • Process Improvement: Identify and document risks and issues, maintaining a sharp focus on internal controls and improvements within a fast-paced IT industry environment. • Strategic Planning: Proactively engage in audit planning, including resource allocation, preparation of client listings, and oversight of the entire audit process. • Collaboration: Participate in debriefing sessions to identify lessons learned and coordinate with specialists to assess finding impacts on the audit. Required Qualifications • Experience: Proven work experience of 6-10 years in a similar role, ideally within the IT/Tech Consulting industry. • Education: At least a Masters degree in commerce (Masters in Finance preferred). Higher degree such as CA, CA inter, CMA, CPA, or MBA/PGDBA in Finance is an added advantage. • Professional Certification: Qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred. • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of accounting principle, bookkeeping, and audit documentation.
