AVP – B2B Sales & Business Development (Remote) Location: India (flexible) | Function: Executive Search – Mid to Senior/Leadership Hiring BGR is a boutique executive search and leadership advisory firm focused on de‑risking leadership hiring decisions for Founders, CEOs and Boards. We specialize in senior and CXO‑level mandates across Finance, Manufacturing, Consumer, Infrastructure and Technology, working on an exclusive, premium‑priced search model. We operate across India, UAE and 40+ countries via our global network of 1500+ recruiters. Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned B2B Sales & Business Development professional from a reputed executive search / recruitment firm who can independently win mid–senior and leadership hiring mandates in India. This is an individual contributor role with minimal inside support, designed for a true hunter who brings ready relationships and can convert them quickly. Key Responsibilities • Own the complete sales cycle for executive search mandates – prospecting, outreach, pitching, proposal, pricing, negotiation and closure. • Generate and qualify leads through your own network, referrals, direct outreach, and industry events; maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline. • Leverage existing relationships to onboard at least 3–5 active client accounts within the first 30–45 days, with clear revenue potential. • Position and sell BGR’s premium, exclusive executive search solutions. • Build and deepen relationships with decision makers – Founders, CEOs, CHROs, Business Heads, PE/VC and Family Office leaders. • Collaborate with the Managing Director and delivery team for smooth handover of mandates. • Track activities, pipeline, forecasts and key account movements in CRM / tracking sheets. • Continuously scan the market for new accounts, sectors and geographies. Required Experience • Expert in executive search / recruitment selling mid–senior or leadership hiring solutions in India. • Current or recent experience with a reputed executive search / recruitment firm, ideally with exposure to retained / exclusive or premium‑priced models. • Proven success in hunting and acquiring new logos and owning end-to-end sales cycles. Skills & Competencies • Strong hunter mindset; self‑driven, disciplined and comfortable operating as an individual contributor. • Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills. • Strong communication and storytelling skills. • Sharp negotiation and closing skills around premium pricing and exclusivity. What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) • 3–5 active client accounts onboarded in month one from your existing relationships. • 20-30 active client accounts onboarded in first year from your existing relationships and referrals.
