Job Title: Back-End Developer (Java + Spring Boot) Experience: 5+ Years Location: Trivandrum Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, persistence frameworks, cloud deployment practices, and scalable architecture principles. The role involves building high-performance backend services, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clean, maintainable, and production-ready code. Key Responsibilities • Develop scalable backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. • Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate relational and NoSQL data sources. • Implement persistence layers using JPA/Hibernate and optimize database structures. • Work with event-driven architectures and messaging systems. • Implement authentication and authorization frameworks across systems. • Ensure automated testing through robust unit and integration testing practices. • Contribute to low-level design, performance improvements, and architectural decisions. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and mentor team members. • Deploy and manage applications using Azure or similar cloud services. Skills • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development. • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate. • Expertise in SQL, relational database systems, and familiarity with NoSQL databases. • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture. • Working knowledge of event-driven design patterns and messaging systems. • Hands-on experience with authentication & authorization mechanisms. • Experience with Azure or other cloud environments. • Strong understanding of scalable and secure application design principles. • Proficiency in GitHub/GitLab and working in Agile teams. • Strong analytical mindset, ownership attitude, and delivery focus. Preferred Skills • Exposure to performance tuning and distributed systems. • Experience working in multi-platform delivery environments. • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive best practices.
