About Rivi We build AI-first products across travel and beyond. We’re looking for a backend-builder passionate about scalable APIs, microservices, databases, and LLM integrations to power seamless, high-performance AI tools for our customers. What you’ll do • Design, build, and version REST + gRPC microservices in Python / Node.js / TypeScript. • Model and tune SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL + vector DBs for RAG pipelines. • Deliver fast, secure, scalable systems on Docker / Kubernetes (AWS / GCP); instrument CI / CD, SLOs, and observability. • Create prompt libraries, agent frameworks, and end-to-end RAG flows (chunking, embeddings, vector search, grounding). • Enable real-time chat via WebSockets / server-sent events. • Ship features with product / AI / design teams - from concept to deployment. What we're looking for • 2–4 yrs production backend work in Python, Node.js, or TypeScript. • Solid grasp of HTTP, gRPC, WebSockets, load-balancing, and micro-service patterns. • Strong DB skills : normalization, indexing, transactions; plus NoSQL & vector stores. • Hands-on with LLM tooling - OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, LangChain / LangGraph / LangFuse, RAG, MCP, Evals. • Familiar with SRE best practices—monitoring, alerting, incident response. • CS degree (or equivalent experience) and a self-driven, ownership mindset.
