Backend Developer – Node.js + Python Location: Mumbai, Pune, Chennai (hybrid) Experience: 3–6 Years Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Extendable) About the Role We are looking for a talented Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and Python to design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should be experienced in building scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud-backed applications. You will collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional teams to build robust, enterprise-grade solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Python & Node.js. • Convert business requirements into scalable, maintainable backend solutions. • Write clean, reusable, optimized code following best practices and coding standards. • Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and backend components. • Develop data processing pipelines, automation scripts, and performance enhancements. • Perform unit testing, debugging, and version control using Git & CI/CD pipelines. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement and best practices. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 3–6 years of strong backend development experience. • Hands-on experience with Python frameworks: Django, FastAPI, or Flask. • Good understanding of Node.js and modern backend practices. • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OOP concepts, and microservices architecture. • Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and ORM tools. • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization. • Bonus: Experience with Pandas, NumPy, or AI/ML workflows.
