Role Overview We're seeking a strong Backend Developer with Al experience to join our team. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support our Al-powered healthcare products. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, frontend engineers, and product leaders to bring advanced Al models into production. Responsibilities : • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs to support healthcare Al applications. • Integrate Al / ML models into production environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. • Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure) to deploy and optimize backend services. • Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, storing, and serving large healthcare datasets. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI / ML, product, frontend) to deliver end-to-end solutions. • Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy / security standards (HIPAA, PHI handling). • Optimize backend performance, scalability, and fault tolerance. Requirements : • 4+ years of experience as a Backend Developer / Software Engineer. • Strong expertise in Python, Node.js, or Java (Python preferred for Al workflows). • Hands-on experience integrating and deploying Al / ML models into production systems. • Strong understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture. • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with Al frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model lifecycle management. • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills. • Knowledge of healthcare standards (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7) is a big plus. Experience constraints will be relaxed for pro-active and zealous learners who are interested in AI. Above all, we value talented team players, who want to learn, work and grow with the company. Nice to Have : • Experience with Kafka, Spark, or other data processing frameworks. • Exposure to GraphQL APIs. • Knowledge of MLOps and CI / CD for Al pipelines. • Previous work in healthcare tech or health data systems.
