About the Role Our client is looking for a Backend Developer – .NET Core with strong experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS applications. This role focuses on designing and developing robust backend services, APIs, and data-driven solutions using modern .NET technologies. You will collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and maintainable systems in a fast-paced, agile environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core • Build and consume RESTful APIs with high performance, scalability, and security • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across services • Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues; propose and implement fixes • Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code following best practices • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes Required Skills • 2+ years of hands-on experience in .NET Core backend development, specifically in a SaaS product environment • Strong understanding of the .NET Core framework, C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts • Proficient in building RESTful APIs and experience with web services integration • Experience with database technology such as MS SQL Server or NoSQL databases • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and testing frameworks • Experience or working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) will be considered an advantage. • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, team-oriented environment • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization technologies • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies • Experience in performance tuning and security optimization • Strong documentation skills for technical designs and specifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
