Role : Backend Development Intern (Laravel) Tech Stack : PHP, Laravel, MySQL Duration : 3–6 months What You Will Work On Backend modules for Sysma’s enterprise platforms REST APIs used by web and mobile applications Business workflows, validations, and role-based access Real data models — not demo databases Key Responsibilities • Develop APIs using Laravel • Work with MySQL (queries, joins, indexing basics) • Implement validations, permissions, and error handling • Debug existing backend logic and fix production issues • Use AI tools effectively for logic breakdown and debugging Mandatory Eligibility • English-medium schooling is mandatory • Strong comfort in English for: Explaining logic Debugging discussions AI-assisted development workflows Required Skills • PHP fundamentals • Basic Laravel understanding (routes, controllers, models) • MySQL basics • Logical reasoning and problem-solving ability Good to Have • API authentication concepts • Queues, cron jobs, background tasks • Exposure to performance or scale issues What You Gain • Enterprise backend architecture exposure • Hands-on experience with real systems • Clear path to full-time backend or full-stack role • Attractive stipend (72k PA to 150k PA)
