About 50Fin 50Fin is a high-growth fintech startup building India’s leading secured-lending infrastructure. We power Loans Against Securities for top banks and NBFCs — handling millions of secure API requests daily, integrated deeply with core banking and lending systems. We’re solving one of the most complex problems in financial infrastructure: modernizing how secured credit works. Responsibilities • Design and build FastAPI-based microservices for lending workflows (pledge, risk, disbursal). • Architect and optimize PostgreSQL databases for scalability and performance. • Develop and integrate secure REST APIs for internal and partner systems. • Own AWS deployments (App Runner, Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, SQS). • Improve system reliability, observability, and performance. • Collaborate with product, frontend, and infra teams to ship end-to-end features. • Contribute to CI/CD automation, logging, and internal tooling. Requirements • 3–5 years of experience in backend development (Python/FastAPI/Django). • Hands-on with AWS (Lambda, App Runner, RDS, S3, SQS). • Strong command of PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization. • Deep understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and security principles. • Experience with Git and cloud-native workflows. • Solid fundamentals in system design, async patterns, and caching. Nice to Have • Event-driven systems (SNS/SQS). • Experience with fintech, banking, or high-compliance systems. • Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline). • Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
