Backend Engineer

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER. We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable microservices, designing RESTful APIs, and managing CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins. Minimum Qualifications : • 5+ years of experience in backend development. • Strong programming skills in Java and experience with Spring Boot. • Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. • Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. • Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs. • Strong experience with Jenkins for CI / CD automation. • Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. • Familiarity with testing frameworks and writing unit and integration tests. Nice-to-Have : • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. • Understanding of SQL / NoSQL databases.
