Backend Engineer

About the job

Job Location : Remote WFH or Ahmedabad • Design, develop, and maintain backend services with a strong focus on Java-based applications. • Build, optimize, and support microservices and distributed system architectures. • Develop and maintain REST APIs and contribute to GraphQL APIs where applicable. • Contribute to frontend development using React as needed to support end-to-end solutions. • Write and maintain Python scripts and services to support backend and integration needs. • Design, deploy, and operate cloud-native applications on AWS using container technologies. • Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform following Infrastructure-as-Code best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. What You’ll Need: • 5–7 years of experience in Software Engineering. • Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development. • Solid experience building and maintaining REST APIs (primary focus) and working knowledge of GraphQL. • Working experience with Python. • Ability to contribute across the stack, including React for frontend development. • Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems. • Experience with cloud-native engineering, including AWS and containerized environments. • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform. • Ability to work effectively within the APAC time zone.
