Backend Engineer

About the job

We’re looking for a backend-first engineer to help build and scale the infrastructure behind our AI systems. This role is primarily backend engineering — designing APIs, services, and infrastructure that power AI inference, knowledge pipelines, and secure deployments. Experience with agentic AI systems or LLM workflows is a plus, not a requirement. What you’ll do • Build and scale production-grade backend systems • Design APIs & services for AI-powered products • Optimize for latency, reliability, and cost • Work closely with AI engineers to productionize models • Support on-prem / private cloud deployments What we’re looking for • 3–5 years of backend engineering experience • Strong in Python (or similar backend languages) • Solid understanding of distributed systems & APIs • Exposure to AI / ML systems is a bonus Why join us • Own critical backend infrastructure • Work on reasoning-first AI, not generic SaaS • High ownership, real impact, early-stage team
