Backend Node.js Developer Experience : 2–4 Years Location : Remote (Work from Home) Mode of Engagement : Full-time No. of Positions : 2 Educational Qualification : Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field Industry : IT / SaaS / AI & Software Services Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Preferred What We Are Looking For • Strong hands-on experience in pure backend development using Node.js • Expertise in building scalable RESTful APIs using Express.js / FastAPI / Flask. • Solid understanding of backend architecture, asynchronous programming, and event-driven systems • Strong experience in database design and optimization using MongoDB and PostgreSQL / SQL databases • Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, role-based access) • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured backend code • Experience handling high-volume data, background jobs, and API performance optimization Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js • Build scalable and secure RESTful and / or microservice-based architectures • Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and error-handling mechanisms • Optimize API performance, database queries, and server-side logic • Integrate third-party services and internal systems • Write unit tests, logging, and monitoring for backend services • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver production-ready features Qualifications • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js • Strong experience with Express.js / Good to have FastAPI / Flask • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) • Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL • Good to have Experience using ORM / ODM tools such as Sequelize, Prisma, TypeORM, or Mongoose • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows • Exposure to Docker and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) is a plus • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
