Title: BDM - Insurance Broking Sales Location: Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore Education: Graduate Experience: 2- 8 years About the Role: We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive mid-market and enterprise sales in the employee benefits and insurance space. This is a high-impact, revenue-driven role focused on consultative selling and closing meaningful premium accounts Responsibilities: • Engage with CXO-level stakeholders including CHROs, HR Heads, CFOs, and Finance leaders • Understand existing employee benefit structures, renewal cycles, and client pain points • Position a compelling value proposition aligned to client needs • Drive the complete sales lifecycle: discovery → solutioning → proposal → negotiation → closure • Collaborate with internal placement and servicing teams to deliver seamless execution • Share structured market feedback to enhance product and service offerings Requirements: 1. Insurance Broking Experience: • Minimum 2+ years of experience in insurance broking 2. Proven Revenue Performance: • Strong track record of delivering meaningful revenue outcomes • Ideally achieved 2.5x+ revenue against fixed CTC in the last 12 months 3. Experience with Large Ticket Sizes: • Closed accounts at least of ₹50 Lakh premium range 4. Relationship Strength: • Strong relationships with CHROs, HR Heads, and CFOs preferred • Ability to influence senior decision-makers and open strategic conversations 5. Placement & Pricing Expertise (Critical Requirement): • Strong insurer relationships across PSU and private insurers • Deep understanding of underwriting and pricing mechanics • Negotiation capability to secure competitive quotes • Structured approach to improving pricing outcomes (within same insurer and across insurers) • Knowledge of key pricing levers that impact underwriting decisions
