The Impact you will have in this role: The Billing Analyst provides global billing support to internal and external clients. This role creates, reviews and analyzes billing reports for accuracy and exceptions as is relates to the monthly billing prior to management distribution. The role handles returned mail and maintains proper relationships within the organizations to make necessary corrections to re-route customer invoices. Your Primary Responsibilities: • Able to reconcile feeds to billing systems against reports from operation areas with a full understanding of any reconciling item. • Able to interpret billing transaction data for customers, DTCC Operations areas as well as other Finance departments and researches customer inquiries when applicable. • Initiates and processes journal entries into various A/R general ledger accounts, including the reconciliation of sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolution of differences and prepares the reconciliation as appropriate to be forwarded to the Financial Reporting department. • Provides information that explains billing transactions; resolves billing issues and discrepancies to resolve missing data and other balancing issues. • Maintains procedures and process maps on processes performed and assists with testing and support of billing system changes. • Support audit and regulatory events by supplying support and being available for questions. • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately. Qualifications: • Entry Level – internship experience highly preferred • Bachelor's degree required Talents Needed for Success: • Experience working within the Financial Services sector • 2-5 years billing experience working within a high-volume transaction processing environment • Excellent communication (English Oral and Written) • Flexibility to work shift patterns • Highly numerate
