Role Overview The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for driving retail field sales for Tent Studio. The role focuses on market visits, lead generation, sales target achievement, customer coordination, and competitor tracking. The position requires a proactive and customer-centric individual who can execute the company’s sales process effectively and strengthen Tent Studio’s market presence. Key Responsibilities 1 Market Development & Lead Generation a) Generate leads through consistent market visits and relationship building. b) Actively introduce and promote the Tent Studio brand in the assigned market. c) Identify and pursue new customer segments and potential business opportunities. 2 Sales Execution & Target Achievement a) Work towards achieving sales targets (value-wise, product-wise, and geography-wise). b) Follow the structured sales process (SPANCO – Suspect, Prospect, Approach, Negotiate, Close, Order). c) Plan and execute effective route planning to maximize coverage and efficiency. d) Ensure compliance with company’s sales policy & credit policy while closing deals. 3 Market Intelligence & Reporting a) Collect and analyze data on competitor products, pricing, and strategies. b) Present market trend insights and product feedback during monthly review meetings for new product development. c) Prepare and submit timely sales reports with all key performance parameters. d) Update customer interactions and lead data accurately in the CRM system; prepare timely reports. 4 Stakeholder Coordination & Customer Handling a) Coordinate and negotiate with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. b) Capture and communicate customer requirements accurately to ensure smooth execution. c) Maintain long-term customer relationships by providing continuous support and service. 5 Team Contribution & Learning a) Support in training and guiding new team members during field assignments. b) Continuously upgrade personal knowledge on products, sales techniques, and market practices. c) Follow company policies, systems, and processes diligently.
