Business Development Executive (Inside Sales)

Role & responsibilities • Revenue & Closure Accountability: • Achieve monthly and quarterly booked & billed revenue targets. • Drive opportunity progression from MQL SQL Opportunity Closure. • Ensure Gross Margin (GM%) delivery as per plan for each deal. • Maintain high forecast accuracy and hygiene in CRM. • Lead Management & Conversion: • Qualify all inbound leads within defined SLAs. • Run structured outbound outreach sequences across email, LinkedIn, and calling. • Convert marketing-generated leads to qualified sales opportunities. • Conduct discovery calls, understand customer pain points, and position offerings. • Pipeline Development: • Build a healthy and predictable sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets. • Collaborate with Demand Gen and Marketing teams to optimize lead quality. • Maintain updated pipeline stages, notes, and next steps in CRM. • Customer Engagement: • Engage prospects with tailored value propositions. • Coordinate with Sales, Pre-sales, and Delivery teams for solutioning. • Drive strong follow-ups to shorten sales cycle and improve win rate. • Reporting & Governance: • Provide weekly and monthly performance reports. • Highlight risks, opportunities, and required support to close deals. • Maintain compliance with sales processes and documentation standards. KPIs / Performance Metrics: • Booked Revenue Achievement • Billed Revenue Achievement • Gross Margin (GM%) Delivery • Inbound Lead SQL Conversion % • SQL Opportunity Conversion % • Opportunity Closure Ratio • Outreach Productivity (Calls, Emails, Touchpoints) • CRM Hygiene & Forecast Accuracy Required Skills & Qualifications: • 24 years of Inside Sales / Business Development Experience. • Proven track record in achieving revenue/closure targets. • Strong communication, objection handling, and negotiation skills. • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Preferred: • Experience in SaaS / IT Services / Demand Gen domain. • Ability to run structured outreach and social selling.
